Job summary

The Learning Spectrum is seeking an Intervention Specialist to design instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals, track progress, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll support social and academic growth in district settings, apply inclusive, student-centered strategies, and help build confident learners who can succeed at school and beyond. Strong communication, documentation, and data-driven planning are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field.
• Ohio Intervention Specialist license or Alternative Residential Educators License.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong collaboration and communication with families and school teams.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered instruction and behavioral support.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals
• Conduct assessments to track academic, behavioral, and social progress
• Collaborate with families and related service providers to ensure consistent support
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for compliance and evaluation
• Foster a positive classroom culture that supports learning, independence, and respect
