Fitzgerald Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Coach to build educator capacity for SPED programs and provide targeted coaching across resource, ASD, CI, EI, SLD, and related services. The role supports IEP development and district compliance under the district’s supervision and state requirements.

The coach will deliver professional learning, monitor progress, and facilitate IEP meetings as needed, ensuring fidelity to IEP goals and accountability for student outcomes.

Formación

• Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with special education endorsement.
• Experience coaching teachers in special education settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Provide instructional coaching to SPED and general education teachers to implement evidence-based practices.
• Support IEP development, implementation, and meetings with fidelity.
• Analyze student performance data to inform instruction and adjust programs.
• Collaborate with district staff to align MTSS and inclusive practices.
• Offer professional learning opportunities and model effective instructional strategies.
