Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six documented semester hours in early childhood education or two years of early childhood work experience for ESSA Title I schools.
• CPI certification and renewal training provided by WCPSS.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with coordinating instructional programs for special education students and IEPs.
• Support behavioral intervention plans and assistive technology in classroom.
• Prepare materials, manage classroom routines, and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete required reports and documentation.
• Support student transitions between classes and assist with health care needs as required.
