Qualifications

• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Strong reading, writing and oral communication in English.
• Spanish reading/writing/communication desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide extra assistance to students with special needs under teacher guidance.
• Present subject matter and reinforce concepts to students.
• Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups.
• Monitor student progress and update Individual Education Plans as needed.
• Assist with supervision during meals, recess and field trips.
• Maintain classroom materials, equipment and student records as directed.
• Support health and safety policies in classroom and school areas.
• Communicate program policies and events to parents; attend parent meetings.
