Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPI certification required; CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Experience with or willingness to learn assistive technology and FERPA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with planning and instruction for students with IEPs.
• Assist with implementation of behavior plans and interventions.
• Prepare materials and manage classroom activities.
• Protect confidentiality in accordance with FERPA.
• Help with assistive technology and AAC devices.
• Monitor student safety and well-being throughout the day.
• Coordinate student transitions between classes.
• Maintain records and required documents securely.
• Participate in district staff development and training.
• Assist in health-related student needs as required.
