Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District 10J is seeking an Inclusion Specialist to implement Special Education programs across instruction, compliance, and behavior support. You will work with the Structured Skills Center Program Director to support staff and students district-wide.

Qualifications include an Oregon special education license, 3+ years of experience with students with disabilities, and knowledge of special and regular education law.

Qualifications

• Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Current First Aid Card.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
• License or eligibility in Special Education by start date.
• Minimum 3 years experience with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of Regular and Special Education Law.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for licensed and classified staff on inclusive instruction and behavior.
• Deliver specially designed instruction in behavior beyond building-level instruction.
• Facilitate Manifestation Determination Review, FBA, Safety Plans and related paperwork.
• Develop and maintain data collection for programs.
• Train staff on Behavior Intervention Plans and assist with paperwork.
• Support IEP writing and Synergy training for case managers.
