Job summary

Gresham Barlow School District is seeking an Inclusion Specialist to support the Structured Skills Center within Student Support Services. The role focuses on implementing Special Education programs across instruction, compliance, and behavior support for staff at the Center.

The position requires an Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement and a current First Aid Card, with responsibilities including staff training, behavior support, and collaboration with the Program Director

Qualifications

• License and evidence of insurability.
• Current First Aid Card required or to be obtained within the district.
• Holds an Oregon SPED license, or related credential, by start date.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for licensed and classified staff on inclusive instructional strategies.
• Deliver specially designed instruction in behavior when needed.
• Facilitate assessments and required paperwork (MD Review, FBA, BIP) at program level.
• Train staff on Behavior Intervention Plans and complete related paperwork.
• Support case managers with compliant IEP writing and Synergy usage.
• Attend special services team meetings as needed.
• Communicate with parents, agencies, and district staff about assigned students.
