Job summary

Qualifications

• 60 college credits or a two-year degree; transcripts required.
• Paraeducator Assessments available with Minnesota passing scores 65% and 70%.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with elementary students.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Flexibility and teamwork.
• Regular, on-time attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow student Behavior Intervention Plans and Emergency Healthcare Plans.
• Provide support to students with personal cares as needed.
• Observe and document students' academic and social behaviors.
• Collect data on goals and objectives.
• Provide feedback on student progress to teachers and related services staff.
• Use iPads and devices for communication with non-verbal students.
• Assist with mealtimes, recess, and field trips.
• Support and supervise students in various settings and weather conditions.
