Job summary

The Lewiston Public School Department is seeking an Educational Technician to assist the Special Education Teacher in providing various educational services as outlined in students' Individualized Education Plans (IEP). This includes facilitating instruction in both RISE/Day Treatment programs.

Qualifications

• Required to have Education Technician III certification.
• Preferred background in child care or education.
• Ability to read and comprehend educational instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support a Special Education Teacher in implementing educational services.
• Facilitate 1:1 and small group instruction.
• Handle classroom setup and material preparation.
