Lewiston Public Schools is hiring an Educational Technician to assist the Special Education Teacher in delivering educational services tailored to individual student needs. This role requires implementing IEPs and facilitating supportive educational environments for students with special needs.

Qualifications

• Three years of postsecondary education or equivalent experience required for BHP certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
• Ability to implement and follow educational and behavioral treatment plans.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Special Education Teacher in delivering educational services.
• Facilitate small group and one-on-one instruction.
• Maintain a safe and effective learning environment.

Connaissances

Ability to facilitate 1:1 and small group instruction

Implementing IEPs and PBSPs

Effective written and verbal communication

Data entry and relevant data collection

Basic mathematical skills

Formation

Three years postsecondary education or 90 credit hours in a related area
