Job summary

Lewiston Public Schools seeks a RISE BHP Special Education Ed Tech II/III at Lewiston Middle School to support students with IEPs and PBSPs. The role requires constant student engagement, 1:1 and small group instruction, and data collection, under the supervision of the Special Education Teacher and BHP/Clinician directions.

The position offers full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range noted as $20.86–$28.12 per hour for the SY26-27 year.

Qualifications

• Three years postsecondary education and/or 90 credit hours required for certification.
• Ability to implement IEP and PBSP and follow de-escalation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 1:1, 1:2 and small group instruction.
• Implement and follow IEP and PBSP directions.
• Assist with setup of classroom and prepare materials for instruction.
• Collect relevant data and enter data.
• Assist in displaying and updating instructional materials.
• Operate standard school equipment (computer, laminator, copier, audiovisual).
• Follow day-to-day student schedules and PBSP precautions.
