Join to apply for the Special Education Compliance Specialist role at Stride, Inc.

The remote Special Education Compliance Specialist is a state-certified teacher responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. The Specialist must provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs as defined by each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). They work actively with students and parents to advance each student’s learning and ensure compliance documentation is maintained.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring all special education and related services are provided as determined by the IEP team.
  2. Developing compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other required documentation.
  3. Leading collaborative IEP meetings and facilitating communication with parents and related service staff.
  4. Implementing accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities.
  5. Monitoring student progress through data collection and analysis.
  6. Providing engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
  7. Maintaining positive rapport with families and supporting learning coaches/parents.
  8. Travel up to 20% for face-to-face activities as required.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active State Special Education teaching license
  • Ability to clear required background check

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with online education and supporting adults and children with technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong communication skills
