Job summary

Coppell ISD is seeking a dedicated instructional aide to support both special education and general education learners. You will assist in preparing materials, maintaining a clean classroom, and helping with equipment, data collection for IEP progress, and administrative records.

You will also orient substitute teachers, support learners during the day, and help them access the curriculum and digital tools in inclusive settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 48 hours of college credit or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist educator in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly classroom.
• Help with inventory, care and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist teacher in collecting data to document learner IEP progress.
• Assist teacher in keeping administrative records and in preparation of reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Support learners in accessing grade-level curriculum and activities.
• Support learners in general and special education settings as assigned.
• Support learners’ use of digital devices for learning and assessment as assigned.
