Sylvania is seeking a dedicated educational aide to support students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom. You will help implement IEPs, assist with self-help and behavior management, and work under the supervision of certified staff.

The role involves assisting with daily classroom activities, transfers, and safety protocols, with routine collaboration with teachers and staff to support student needs.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to meet formal academic assessment or have two years of college.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate required.
• Two years experience working with children.

Mansioni

• Assist with physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities.
• Implement IEP-related tasks under supervision.
• Assist with self-help, behavior management and instruction.
• Assist with transitions, lunchroom, bus and playground duties.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety protocols.
