Job summary

Marana Unified School District seeks a dedicated aide to support students with disabilities and help them achieve their IEP goals. You will work under licensed teachers to provide tutoring and assist with self-care tasks as needed.

The role includes classroom support, documentation, and collaboration with staff. CPR/First Aid certification and CPI readiness within six months are required, along with appropriate Arizona credentials and clearances.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required (online not accepted).
• Willingness to obtain CPI certification within 6 months of employment.
• Arizona Driver’s License required.
• Finger Print Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, supportive environment for students with disabilities.
• Accompany and assist students throughout the school day per IEP.
• Offer 1:1 or small group tutoring and remediation under a certified teacher.
• Transcribe instructional materials into Braille if needed.
• Assist with self-care tasks and basic mobility.
• Perform medical tasks under licensed providers as assigned.
