Job summary

Marana Unified School District in Arizona seeks a paraprofessional to support students with disabilities and help deliver IEP-related services. The role includes tutoring, 1:1 and small-group instruction, and assisting with assessments and paperwork.

Responsibilities span medical tasks under licensed staff, transportation of materials, and coordination with families for IEP, CST, and MET meetings. Requires CPR/First Aid, CPI within 6 months, and an AZ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required (online training not accepted).
• Ability to receive CPI certification within 6 months of employment.
• AZ Driver’s License and Finger Print Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, supportive environment for students with disabilities.
• Assist students 1:1 or in small groups and support IEP-related services.
• Perform medical tasks under licensed staff direction (e.g., CPR, trachea care).
• Maintain records, Medicaid billings, and classroom administrative duties.
• Assist with testing, scheduling, and communication with parents for IEP meetings.
