Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Teacher Assistant II for Special Education (Resource/Inclusion) to provide instructional support under a certified teacher. The assistant will work with students individually and in small groups, assist in preparing materials, and help monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Requires accredited high school diploma or GED.
• Title I campuses may require an associate degree or 48 college hours.
• Parapro/educational aide certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with reading, language arts, math, science and computer skills.
• Work with students individually and in small groups.
• Support instructional materials and classroom activities for students.
• Assist students with disabilities to maximize inclusion and learning.
• Participate in IEP processes and support student evaluation teams.
