Job summary

Fort Bend ISD is seeking an Aide Special Education Resource/Inclusion Services to provide direct support to students with disabilities. You will assist teachers in implementing IEPs, supporting academics, behavior, communication, and personal care while maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities include data collection, progress documentation, applying behavioral strategies, and collaborating with campus staff.

Qualifications

• Must have 48 college hours or pass the Para Professional knowledge and skills test.
• Texas Educational Aide Certification is preferred or obtained after hire.
• De-Escalation/Restraint training may be required via district program.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with students to ensure safety and engagement in multiple settings.
• Assist with classroom management and supervise students at all times.
• Implement behavioral strategies per ARD documentation and guidance.
• Deliver academic/functional lessons under teacher direction.
• Assist with personal care tasks up to 50% of the workday as needed.
• Collect data and chart student progress with the teacher.
• Collaborate with campus staff and participate in professional development.
