Job summary

The role provides instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher, helping reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and computer instruction.

The position requires working with students with disabilities, supporting IEP objectives, and assisting with daily living activities in a safe, inclusive classroom

Qualifications

• Experience assisting students with reading and math readiness.
• Ability to reinforce instructional strategies under supervision.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and inclusion supports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructional activities and reinforce reading, language arts, and math.
• Work with students in small groups and individually to reinforce skills.
• Support with IEP objectives and student progress documentation.
• Provide supervision in non-instructional areas and during field trips.
