Qualifications

• Qualifying score on ETS paraeducator assessment or equivalent education requirement.
• Ability to follow instructional procedures and support students with diverse needs.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities to enable participation of all special education students.
• Assist in administering materials and assignments to support progress.
• Provide first aid and medical assistance as needed.
• Support students with personal care needs as required.
• Attend meetings and in-service trainings to stay informed on job functions.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor student progress and IEP goals.
• Implement behavioral plans and reinforce instructional objectives.
• Maintain instructional materials and student records for reliability.
• Supervise students across various school environments to ensure safety.
