Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic math, read manuals, and follow formats.
• Know instructional procedures, age-appropriate activities, safety and behavior management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities and materials under teacher direction.
• Administer tests, homework, and grades to support progress reporting.
• Provide first aid and medical assistance as required.
• Assist students with personal care needs as needed in school.
• Attend meetings and trainings to update job-related knowledge.
• Coordinate with teachers/parents to share student progress and goals.
• Implement and monitor behavioral plans for students as required.
• Instruct students in activities to reinforce objectives and remediation plans.
