Qualifications

• Educational Aide I Paraprofessional Certificate is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working with children/students or persons with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of students with disabilities.
• Assist in supervising students inside and outside the classroom.
• Support teacher with individual tasks and behavior management.
• Assist with personal care needs including self-help and positioning.
• Maintain safety and enforce school rules and policies.
• Participate in staff development and meetings.
