Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality.
• Keep accurate records of students with disabilities and furnish to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in supervising students inside and outside the classroom, including lunchroom, bus duty, playground.
• Assist teacher with confidential folders and materials.
• Support students with tasks including transfers, positioning, feeding, hygiene.
• Help manage behavior and crisis intervention.
• Prepare materials for individual students or small groups under direction.
• Keep the teacher informed of students’ special needs or problems.
• Uphold school rules and policies.
• Participate in staff development and meetings as assigned.
