Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide to support students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and teachers. You may also assist with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, adherence to professional standards, and eligibility to work in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. CPR may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with professional standards of practice.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements and be at least 18 years old.
• Current CPR if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under supervision of the special education department and teachers.
• Provide support services for personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals.
• Collaborate with the team to implement individualized education plans and behavior plans.
