Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide to support students needing instructional and behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department and teachers. The role may involve assisting with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as determined by health professionals.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, CPR if applicable, TB screening, and a health certificate as required by contract or state regulation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under supervision of the special education department and teachers.
• Provide support for students with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as required by health professionals.
