Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a coordinator for Special Education paraprofessionals to oversee placement, development, and monitoring of support services for students. The role includes ensuring timely, accurate paperwork and compliance with state/federal regulations.

Candidate will use Skyward, Qlive and IEPWriter to manage student information and reporting, working with Special Education Supervisors and the Director of Special Education.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Paraprofessional in a public school district.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced skills with Word & Excel, Docs & Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, placement, development, and monitoring of paraprofessional support services for special education students.
• Oversee paraprofessionals' submission of paperwork and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Utilize Student Information Management Systems (Skyward, Qlive, IEPWriter) to retrieve and organize student information for district/state reports.
