Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking a dedicated paraeducator to support students with severe special education needs in both in-person and remote learning settings. You will assist with curriculum adaptation, monitor progress, and help maintain achievement records under licensed staff supervision.

Responsibilities include implementing IEP accommodations, preparing materials, and aiding with behavior support and crisis prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
• No professional work experience required
• For Title I assignments: two years of college or an associate degree or equivalent demonstrated through assessment

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with tests/attendance
• Support online/remote learning activities and tech troubleshooting
• Provide assistance with personal care as needed
