Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Special Care Aide (SCA) PRN in Ada, Durant, Idabel/Broken Bow, OK to join our home-based care team. You will assist clients with daily living, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation while traveling between assigned visits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required by state regulations.
• Minimum six months of experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals.
• Certifications: HHA, CNA, or similar as required by state.
• Comfort with mobile devices and electronic documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within service area.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation with current registration and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support new client admissions and Start of Care visits.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform housekeeping and household support.
• Assist with errands and transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate visit records and documentation.
• Provide coverage for open shifts and urgent staffing needs.
• Travel throughout the assigned service area to support clients.
• Promote Elara Caring's mission and commitment to quality care.
