Job summary

Aequor is seeking a Histotechnologist / Spatial Biology Specialist to join our Oncology Research team in Ridgefield, CT. The role supports development of spatial biology capabilities for preclinical biomarker discovery and translational research.

You will combine histology, tissue-based assay development, and quantitative image analysis to design high-plex protein panels, implement spatial transcriptomics, and generate datasets that deepen understanding of the tumor microenvironment.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-plex protein imaging or multiplex staining in tissue sections.
• Proficiency in designing antibody panels and validating tissue assays.
• Experience with spatial transcriptomics or related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and execute high-plex tissue-based assays in human/mouse tissues.
• Design multiplex antibody panels and optimize staining conditions and controls.
• Support spatial transcriptomics workflows, including QC and data integration.
• Develop workflows spanning tissue prep, staining, imaging, and analysis.
• Collaborate with computational scientists to integrate spatial data with histopathology.
