Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Executive Account Specialist in Chicago to promote neuroscience products to community practices and health systems. The role involves building relationships with neurology, pain medicine, rehab, and related departments, and delivering clinical training.

The position requires strong sales experience, ability to manage complex sales processes, and travel to cover the territory, including overnight trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
• Five or more years of industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is acceptable
• Ability to manage a complex sell and communicate to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Promote a product to meet/exceed sales goals in community/private practices as well as hospitals/health systems
• Identify needs and address with AbbVie resources
• Deliver anatomical/procedural information and training for injection paradigms
• Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and hospital personnel
• Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote products and trainings in hospital accounts
• Utilize AbbVie data resources to enhance productivity and growth within the U.S. marketing plan
