Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks an Account Specialist to promote AbbVie's products to community practices and health systems, building durable relationships with neurology, pain, PM&R, primary care, and pharmacy teams.

You will train residents and hospital staff, present clinical information, and leverage AbbVie's resources to meet sales goals while traveling across the territory and maintaining HCIR credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• Five (5) years of technical sales experience with three (3) years in sales preferred and a HS diploma/GED required.
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred in health systems and private practice.

Responsibilities

• Promote a product to meet/exceed sales goals in community/private practices as well as hospitals/health systems.
• Identify/uncover customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) and address with AbbVie resources
• Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and other key hospital personnel.
• Deliver anatomical/procedural information and training, highlighting injection paradigms/postures and considerations.
• Utilize AbbVie's sales and data resources to enhance productivity and growth of AbbVie products.
• Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote approved indications and train hospital/health system accounts.
