Job summary

Jacobs in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead hyperscale data center deliveries from concept through commissioning. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality while coordinating owners, design teams, contractors, and utilities.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a track record of delivering multi-phase projects valued at tens of millions to over $50M.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in construction project management for large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• 4+ years as PM or APM leading projects valued at $50M+.
• Experience across preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost controls, and contract administration.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center projects from concept to completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to meet objectives.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight across all project phases.
• Coordinate activities among architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Facilitate meetings, document minutes, track actions, and report status.
• Analyze performance and develop schedule, cost, safety, and risk reports.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Lead change management, including evaluation and approval of changes and claims.
• Review invoices, payments, and forecasts.
• Ensure safety standards and quality expectations on site.
