Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale hyperscale data center projects in Spartanburg, SC. The role requires managing scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality across all project phases, from preconstruction through commissioning and handover.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of construction PM experience on complex facilities, OSHA 10/30, and strong communication skills to interface with executives, clients, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center construction projects from concept through completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to achieve objectives.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight across all project phases.
• Coordinate activities among architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, utility providers, and client representatives.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Review contract documents, drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Lead change management, including evaluation and approval of change orders and claims.
• Monitor invoices, cost forecasts, and payment applications.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Coordinate commissioning activities and startup/turnover of systems.
