Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead hyperscale data center delivery in an on-site role. You will manage complex projects from preconstruction through turnover, coordinating with owners, design teams, contractors, and utilities to ensure safety, schedule, and budget goals are met.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of PM experience on large-scale builds, OSHA certification, and a track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of construction project management experience on large-scale projects.
• Minimum of 4 years as a Project Manager or Assistant PM on projects valued at $50M+.
• Experience managing all phases of construction delivery: preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, closeout.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center construction projects from concept through completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to meet objectives.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight across all project phases.
• Coordinate activities among architects, engineers, contractors, utility providers, commissioning teams, and client reps.
• Facilitate meetings, document minutes, track items, and report status to stakeholders.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Lead change management, including evaluation and negotiation of change orders and claims.
• Review contractor invoices and cost forecasts; monitor compliance with safety and quality standards.
