S&ME invites qualified students to join the 2027 Spark Summer Internship Program in Civil, Environmental, Construction, and Geotechnical Engineering. This twelve-week, full-time internship offers hands-on experience alongside employee-owners and access to technical experts across our firm.

Open to rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students, the program emphasizes professional development and potential career opportunities within our diverse service lines.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred
• Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred
• At least 18 years of age
• Out of town travel may be required
• For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn about all aspects of S&ME through hands-on exposure within your area of interest
• Collaborate with experienced professional and technical employee-owners within your service lines
• Participate in intern cohort activities and professional development to bridge campus to career
