Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Houston, TX is seeking a plasma donor screener who will perform phlebotomy and support center operations. You’ll report to the Plasma Center Manager and interact with donors to ensure safety and quality of the donation process.

This role requires customer-facing experience, ability to stand for long shifts, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The team offers daily pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on rare occasions.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs.
• Use Donor Information System and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvements and initiate changes per procedures.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
