Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Houston seeks a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist to support center operations. You will engage donors, screen new and returning donors, and perform phlebotomy while maintaining accurate donor records and ensuring safety.

The role requires evenings, weekends, and holiday availability and involves working with a Donor Information System. Responsibilities include documenting vital signs, coordinating donor compensation, and contributing to process

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs. and occasional 50 lbs.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on our donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Support donors through varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
