Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by the employing state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge and process specimens; maintain patient data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Follow OSHA; attend departmental trainings.
• Prepare specimens for transport and storage.
