Ridgemont Resources, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist who speaks Spanish for a contract role in Adelphi, MD. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 9 am–6 pm, with an initial 3-month term and the possibility of permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and recording maintenance data.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and labeling according to protocol.
