Elevate Patient Financial Solutions in Escondido, CA, is seeking a Bilingual Patient Advocate Team Lead with fluent Spanish. This full-time role leads a team of Patient Advocates, connecting uninsured hospital patients with government programs and serving as a liaison between patients, the hospital, and government agencies.

You will mentor staff, handle complex cases, document thoroughly, and work closely with hospital staff to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish; written and spoken.
• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Experience with government programs is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and manage complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage follow up and resolution of complex cases or those requiring the appeals process.
• Act as a mentor for other Patient Advocates and assist in training.
• Provide guidance on process, programs, and payers.
• Escalate issues to Supervisor or Director as needed.
• Screen uninsured patients to identify government assistance programs.
• Complete applications and follow through until approval.
• Document accurately in Company systems and hospital records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Participate in trainings to apply new knowledge.
• Maintain patient account queues and collaborate with staff.
