Job summary

L.A. Injury Attorneys is seeking a dedicated Case Manager experienced in lien negotiations to coordinate medical treatment for clients whose cases are in litigation and negotiate post-settlement medical liens, including Medi-Cal, Medicare, and private provider liens.

You will work closely with attorneys and staff, review records, track treatment progress, and draft closing documents while maintaining detailed records of all negotiations and communications. Fluency in Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Case Management and personal injury lien negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of government healthcare provider policies for lien negotiation (Medicare, Medi-Cal, Medicaid).
• Experience with medical bills and records.
• Fluency in Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule medical treatment for clients after case is in litigation.
• Review medical records and client files to identify liens and related bills.
• Maintain client files and track treatment progress and lien status.
• Communicate with clients and healthcare providers about treatment and liens.
• Prepare medical summaries and chronologies to aid attorneys.
• Draft and negotiate medical liens, Medpay reimbursements, and attorney liens.
• Issue checks to providers and clients and assist in trial preparation.
