Job summary

Centria Autism in Jackson, MI is seeking Spanish Speaking-Center-Based Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You should be patient, compassionate and capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test
• Background check required
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend)
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Help reduce interfering behaviors while ensuring safety and engagement
