Job summary

CENTRIA HEALTHCARE is seeking Spanish-speaking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided to ensure you are equipped for success. Eligibility includes 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid and TB test, and ability to obtain RBT certification

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with the team.
• Provide training and support to families and caregivers as needed.
