Job summary

Centria Autism in Highland Springs, Virginia, is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implement intervention plans under a BCBA, and help develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate, and capable of standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a team. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Fluent in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
