Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, applying individualized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We offer training, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow in a dedicated autism services environment. Position pays $17.00–$20.00 hourly; bilingual Spanish required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and track progress under supervision.
• Provide compassionate care and support in a team-based environment.
