Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work closely with a BCBA to implement individualized plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

We provide comprehensive training and value teamwork. Roles involve physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds; CPR/First Aid and TB testing may be required. Pay range is $19–$20 per hour, with opportunities for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test if not current.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Participate in a structured training program and collaborate with the team.
