Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking energetic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with a child under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans and teaching essential communication, social, and daily living skills.

You should be patient, compassionate, and comfortable in a team setting. Training is provided, and lifting up to 50 pounds is sometimes required as part of daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and a TB test.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and ensure child safety.
