Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Michigan to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. The role focuses on implementing individualized behavior intervention plans and teaching essential communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Training is provided; candidates should be patient and team-oriented, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to a team environment and participate in comprehensive training provided by Centria Autism.
