Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based methods to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. You must be willing to stand, move, and assist with activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Join a compassionate team making a real difference.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in sit, squat, bend and related positions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized plans.
• Apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervision to progress goals.
