Job summary

Centria Healthcare in Phoenix, AZ seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to support children with autism under BCBA supervision. You will work one-on-one, implement individualized intervention plans, and teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans under guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
